Love God with All Your Mind (Matthew 22:37)
Intro – Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinks so is he; Jesus knew the word and quoted it to the devil; He grew in wisdom so He had to put in the work; do we even try?
I. Thinking Right Can Give You Life and Peace (Romans 8:6) Want?
A. By setting your mind on the Spirit
B. By not setting your mind on the flesh – does it lead to greed?
C. By taking every thought captive to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)

II. Thinking Right Comes from God’s Word (Romans 12:2)
A. Not conformed to the world (1 John 2:15-17)
B. But transformed by the renewing of your mind (1 John 2:14)

C. To prove what the will of God is (read, obey what you know)
III. Thinking Right Comes from the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)
In making decisions
A. What Christ used against the devil (Matthew 4:3-10)
B. What Christ suffered (Hebrews 12:2-4) List!
C. Arm yourself with the same purpose (1 Peter 4:1)
IV. Thinking Right Involves being Renewed Often (Ephesians 4:23)
A. Dwell on what is true, honorable and right (Philippians 4:8)
B. Set your mind on heaven (Colossians 3:2)

C. Claim the sound mind given by God (2 Timothy 1:7) – discipline
Don’t act out of fear!
D. Gird your mind for action (1 Peter 1:13)
